Droid by Motorola and Verizon Wireless will be a challenge for iPhone. Motorola Droid will be presented shortly, may be in November. However, it already has enough momentum and when Verizon and Motorola are able to maintain this momentum, the manufacturers of iPhone, Apple may lose some potential customers. This is because the ad was not only catchy, but the iPhone has been made to look not so great.

Nokia claims iPhone infringed their patent

Nokia, the global manufacturer of mobile phones, is suing Apple Inc. in federal court, claiming that the popular iPhone uses patented wireless technology.

Nokia Corp. claims that the iPhone violates 10 patents covering both mobile telephone and wireless Internet.

The company also said that 40 manufacturers of cellular phones have got these licenses from Nokia, but Apple has not done.

An Apple representative did not return calls seeking comment yesterday.

The companies developing mobile technologies regularly sue each other over patents. The usual result is that the defendant agrees to pay royalties, or the parties agree to share each other’s patents.

The lawsuit was filed in District Court U. S. Wilmington, Delaware.

The Apple iPhone is updated. The new Apple iPhone 3G S is very good. They tried their best to cover the issues. Finally, they thought to put the video in this serie which is quite good and necessary. It also run a lot faster than the previous model. Apple has promised that the battery life is good. In the camera that should have comes with flash light, but it isn’t there.

Few things that improved in the Apple iPhone 3G S are video recording which is necessary, voice command is also introduced in this new update, unlike older version it run very fast, battery life is good and quality of multimedia is a great. Aside from its weakness such as no flash light and the signals are uneven.

Promising sign of recovery for Spain operators

Spain has been hit hard by the economic downturn, reflected in decreasing revenues for operators. But promising signs of recovery are being reported, such as a growing interest in mobile broadband and social-networking services.

Miguel A. Rodriguez, head of Marketing and Business Development at Ericsson Spain, says many of the large European operators are present in the Spanish telecom market. “New services are often launched earlier here than in other European countries because operators use this market as a testing ground,” he says.
